Terms & Conditions
Last updated:
These terms are the agreement between you and PT. Digital One Global, which operates Sentadu. They apply when you create an account or buy an eSIM plan, so read them before you buy.
1. Who we are
Sentadu is an online store run by PT. Digital One Global, a company registered in Indonesia. Our registration numbers and office address are set out at the top of this page.
We sell eSIM data plans for use outside Indonesia. We are a seller of data plans, not a telecommunications operator: we do not own the networks, and the coverage and speed you get follow the policy of the operator serving you in each country.
2. Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us. If a parent or guardian lets you use their account, they are responsible for the purchase and for these terms.
You need an account to buy and manage eSIMs. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, because you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Give us accurate information. We may suspend an account that uses false details or that abuses the service.
You can close your account by writing to [email protected]. Closing it does not cancel or refund an order that is already active.
3. What you are buying
A plan is a data allowance for one eSIM, valid for the period shown on the plan page. It is a data plan only: it gives you no phone number, and it carries no calls or SMS.
A plan works only on a device that supports eSIM and is not locked to another carrier. Check the supported devices list before you buy.
Plan availability, the operators behind a plan, and the countries a plan covers can change. The plan page is the current description of what you get.
4. Price, currency and payment
We display prices in ten currencies. The Rupiah amount is the real one, and it is the amount we charge.
Payment is processed in Indonesian Rupiah through our Indonesian payment gateway, and the exact Rupiah amount is shown before you confirm the order.
Prices include a currency conversion margin of up to 4 percent, applied to every currency we display, including Rupiah. It is inside the price rather than added to it, so it is the same whichever payment method you choose.
PayPal is charged in US dollars, at the rate shown before you pay. PayPal does not accept Rupiah, and we do not settle into other foreign currencies, so every PayPal charge is in US dollars whichever currency you were browsing in. That charge is separate from the Rupiah order total, and it never changes the amount recorded against your order or your wallet.
Two charges are added to a plan at checkout, and both are shown as their own line before you confirm. We charge a service fee, which is the same amount whichever payment method you choose. Your payment method charges a processing fee of its own, which the provider sets and keeps rather than us, so it differs by method.
A price shown in another currency is an estimate. It moves with the exchange rate, which we refresh from a third-party rate provider, so the displayed amount for a plan can change between visits.
5. Your wallet
Your Sentadu wallet is an Indonesian Rupiah balance you can spend on plans in this store.
You can top it up with the same payment methods. The balance cannot be withdrawn as cash, and it cannot be transferred to another person.
Every movement of the balance is written to your transaction history as it happens. Those entries are append-only: we do not edit or delete them, so the history stays a true record.
A refund from a cancelled order is paid into this balance. See the Refund Policy for the rules.
6. Activation and validity
When a plan's clock starts depends on its type. Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination country. Some start when you install the eSIM. The plan page says which applies to the plan you bought.
Validity is counted in calendar days from the moment it starts. Install and activate your eSIM before the plan expires: a plan that expires unactivated cannot be used and cannot be refunded.
You are responsible for installing the eSIM correctly. The install guide is on the plan page, in your account, and in the email we send with the QR code.
7. Speed and fair use
Where a plan carries a daily allowance, the allowance resets each day and unused data does not carry over to the next day.
An operator may reduce your speed once you pass a threshold set in the plan. The plan page states the threshold, or states that there is none. This is the operator's fair-use policy, and it applies to every seller of that operator's plans.
A plan is for personal use on one device. Using it to serve other devices beyond ordinary tethering, or to resell connectivity, is not allowed.
8. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel an order yourself from your account within 7 days of payment, as long as the eSIM has never been activated. The full Rupiah amount you paid for the order is credited to your wallet immediately, in the same step.
The service fee we charge is not refunded, and neither is the payment provider's processing fee. A refund returns the plan price you paid.
Once the eSIM has connected to a network, the order can no longer be cancelled or refunded. This is because the operator has already delivered the data you bought.
The Refund Policy sets out the full rules, including the cases we cannot refund. It forms part of these terms.
9. What you must not do
You agree not to use Sentadu to:
- Break the law of Indonesia or of the country you are in.
- Access, alter or disrupt our systems without permission, or try to.
- Resell or transfer a plan to someone else without our written consent.
- Harm a partner operator or another customer, including anything that counts as network abuse.
- Use a plan in a country it does not cover, or use a plan you obtained fraudulently.
10. Our content
The Sentadu name and logo, this website, and the text and images on it belong to us or to our licensors. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
Operator names and network marks belong to their owners. We use them to identify the networks a plan connects to, and their use does not imply any endorsement of us.
11. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise an uninterrupted connection. An interruption can come from our own maintenance, from a partner operator's network, or from something outside our control.
We may change or withdraw a plan. If we withdraw a plan you have already bought and have not used, we honour it or we refund it.
We may suspend or end the service for maintenance, for a legal requirement, or where we must to protect the service or other customers.
12. Our liability
We are responsible for providing the plan you bought. If we fail to provide it, our liability for that order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost profit, lost data or a missed opportunity, arising from a connection you could not use.
We are not the operator of the network, so we are not liable for a fault in a partner operator's network. Where that happens, we will help you claim against the operator, and we will refund an order the operator cannot deliver.
Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under Indonesian consumer protection law, and nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
13. Events outside our control
We are not in breach of these terms for a delay or a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control. This includes a natural disaster, an epidemic, a war or civil disturbance, a failure of a network, power or transport, a government act, and a labour dispute.
If such an event continues long enough to make an order impossible to deliver, either of us may end that order, and we refund what you paid for it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it took effect at the top.
A change applies to an order you place after it takes effect. An order you already placed keeps the terms that applied when you placed it.
If you do not accept a change, stop using the service. You can close your account, and the balance in your wallet stays yours.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia.
If something goes wrong with an order, write to [email protected] first and give us the order number. We reply on business days, and most problems are settled there.
If we cannot settle it between us, you may take it to the Badan Penyelesaian Sengketa Konsumen, to another dispute-resolution body, or to a court. Under Article 72(3) of Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019, a consumer may bring a claim in the court of their own domicile. Nothing in these terms takes that right away from you.
16. The rest of this agreement
If a provision of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement stays in force, and the unenforceable provision is replaced by one that comes closest to what it was meant to achieve.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. They replace anything said or written before.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms as part of a business transfer. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
